Learn how to “tattoo” your candles. No drawing skills required! Using an image transfer technique you can create unique home decor that would also be great as a gift!
🛠 Supplies You’ll Need
To build your dispenser during the workshop, bring:

Scissors

Tape

100% acetone

Cotton balls/pads or a rag

Real Wax Candle (LED or real, but for decorative use only, not to be burned)

Laser printed image (make sure the image will fit around the candle)

Acrylic Paint Markers (Optional)

Diamond art drill (Optional)

Super Glue/Nail Glue (Optional)

👣 The Step by Step Project
Cut your laser printed image into smaller components and arrange to fit on your candle. (I used scraps as a guide for laying out the smaller images)
Turn one of your laser printed images print side towards the candle and tape in place on one side only.
Using your cotton of choice, dab some 100% acetone on the images to “melt” the toner and transfer to the wax. Do no rub, just dab quickly but firmly and pull back to remove the paper before the acetone dries. Repeat until you have transferred all the images on to the candle. Erase any mistakes with acetone and try again.
Once the images are transferred to the candle, you can leave as it is for a simple line art look
Optional Steps:
You can go in with acrylic paint markers to add color.
Glue some of those leftover diamond art kit drills to add some bling

These candles are meant for decorative use only. Burning the candles may burn chemicals in the paint/toner and cause health risks.
