BestNest Large Wood Nature Press 18x12 Flower Leaf Herbarium Drying Tool

Purchased thinking I could use it for bookbinding, but didn't realize the dimensions were nearly identical to what I currently use.

This large-scale nature press by BestNest is designed for the preservation of botanical specimens. Constructed from birch-finished plywood, the press utilizes a bolt and wing nut system to apply even pressure across the surface area. The significant 18-inch width allows for the processing of larger fronds or multiple smaller specimens simultaneously, making it an ideal tool for herbarium work and botanical crafting.

Includes internal cardboard and blotter paper layers

Professional size suitable for large botanical projects

Adjustable tension via wing nut fasteners

Press is in used condition. It is missing one corner bolt and wing nut assembly, which will require replacement for full functionality. There is a noticeable stain on the instruction sheet and minor surface wear on the wood boards. Internal inserts show signs of previous use. Replacement hardware and additional inserts are available for purchaseon BestNest's website.
